Want to know which team is in which space where?

If you’re coming to the Tri-State BBQ Festival on Saturday, April 14 then you’ll probably want to know which teams are in what spot. This is especially helpful during the Sam’s Club People’s Choice/ Southern Hospitality competition from 2:30- 4:00.  (During the Sam’s Club People’s Choice/ Southern Hospitality competition you go from team space to team space sampling BBQ. You can vote for one team that has the best BBQ and you can also vote for a team that demonstrated the finest southern hospitality. You vote on the back of your general admission ticket by writing the team name(s) in the blank and signing the ticket. There are ballot boxes located by the main spectator entrance and by the sound booth of the Main Stage. If you purchased an internet ticket, you redeem your paper you printed at home for a ballot upon entering the fairgrounds.)

BBQ Competitions, like fine horse races, often have teams scratch (withdraw) and others sometimes take their place. This map was printed in the newspaper, The Barbecue Rag and was current on March 26th when it went to print. However here are a few teams who have withdrawn, and we have moved a couple others to fill those empty spaces.

#10 Great Lakes BBQ has withdrawn. BootyQue has taken this space.
#12 Carolina Catering has withdrawn. We moved a team that had already been assigned a space into that location, as to not have any gaps. Hub City Smokehouse is now in #12
#13 Benny’s BBQ has withdrawn. Benny called his buddy Tim to take over his spot. New name on this spot is Bunkhouse Barbecue
#15 U Rub Me Raw has withdrawn. Keith of Seriously Smokin’ BBQ is taking on that spot, #15.
#33 Fire Pit has withdrawn. We moved a team that was in a smaller space over to this better one. The Ross Team is now in #33.
#76 Jess Bailey’s Team (which was Q-102) withdrew. We were able to get 2 Brothers BBQ to fill that spot.

#25 was omitted from the map accidentally. That  is Easy E’s House of Q. Oddly enough, space #25 is located between 18 and 19. (Of course!)
#45 was omitted from the map. It is over behind the BBQ Pitmasters Set in the overflow team area. Big PIg Inc is in that spot.

There are several thousand copies of  The Barbecue Rag throughout the Wiregrass, inside copies of the Wiregrass Shoppers Guide and also in local gas stations. We will have a thousands copies available Saturday morning at the main gate/ information booth if you need a map of the fairgrounds and teams.
